2nd shopping trip [Video, filtered from Vegeta]
Hey everyone! I've already got Mother's Day covered for celebrating with my mom, but things are a little trickier with my dad. I've been thinking about it and the thing that would make him the happiest would be if I spent the whole day training with him. He's a super strong martial artist and it's his favourite thing to do.
[Which will be a real labour of love. There's no way she'd willingly subject herself to anything close to what her father would consider a good amount of training on a regular basis.]
I've already been getting some training, but I've never gone all out and trained for a whole day straight.
[It's never appealed to her before. Not even remotely. Regular exercise is one thing, and dancing is fun. 8+ consecutive hours of intense training is something she'll need to work herself up to if she's going to be able to move the next day.]
So...I was hoping to find people that would be willing to spar with me. I want to get strong enough to protect little kids that get drafted and I want to make my dad's Father's Day really special. I'm pretty durable and I can fly, so you don't need to worry about me being too fragile to handle it.
[She smiles and waves.]
Thanks a bunch in advance. In return, I'll give makeovers and fashion advice to anyone who wants it.

...ignore the conspicuous looking bag that was settled higher up on the beach. Really. Just ignore it.]
[Action]
Hi Cliff! How should we begin?
[Action]
It only made sense.
He turned around and flashed her a grin.]
Seeing as you're more skilled than I thought, we'll begin by making a little deal. You've gotta promise that you'll keep it too, at least while we're at this. Think you can handle it?
[Action]
[To her, there's a difference. Being able to fly means she's got halfway decent ki control, but she doesn't consider herself to be a skilled fighter in the slightest. The only thing she's sure she could do fighting-wise is make an ordinary human thug trying to rob her really regret that life choice.]
[Action]
Now, you willing to listen to my idea?
[Action]
[She might not be a genius like her mother is, but her parents didn't raise a fool.]
Flying just means I can control my ki well enough to manage. It doesn't make me a good fighter. My dad is a good fighter.
[Action]
[He walked toward the bag and started shuffling through it, looking for a specific item.]
Don't worry. I'm not gonna ask anything much, and I'm not gonna intentionally push you too far.
I just need you to keep your feet on the ground while we're doing this. That means no flying. Got it?
[Action]
[Given some people's ideas of training, she'd been worried that he'd come up with something ridiculous. Not flying isn't so bad. Wolverine sent her through a dangerous obstacle course without being allowed to fly.]
[Action]
[He grinned when he finally found what he was looking for in his sack of materials-- poor Bulla hasn't even seen the half of it yet.
She might even kill Cliff by the time they're done, but for very different reasons.]
You're gonna wanna put these on. [He tossed his finding at his 'student' for the afternoon, and was curious about how she'd react.] And remember, we've got a deal.
[It's a pair of goggles. Enjoy!]
Action]
Um...why would I put these on? Are we swimming or something?
[Action]
[Action]
[She's still a little hesitant about putting them on. They look so dorky that she sincerely hopes that nobody but Cliff sees her wearing them.]
[Action]
Or big thing. Cliff started pulling mechanical pieces out from the bag and assembling them with the practiced ease of a skilled mechanic.]
Oh I shoulda warned you. The sand is the least of your problems.
[Note the packages of brightly colored balls sitting in the sand nearby.]
[Action]
...what are you doing? I thought we were sparring.
[Action]
Who said anything about sparring? I can't teach you how to hurt your dad. I'm just a Klausian-- stronger than an Earthling, but still nothing that can top a Saiyan,
[He chuckled.]
No, no. I'm just gonna help you survive a day with him. Now-- think fast!
[He fired the paintball gun without aiming. React.]
[Action]
Aaah!
[It's not even very painful - she can handle being thrown well over thirty feet backward without so much as a bruise. It's more the sudden poke and the pain spattering everywhere that has her yelling.]
What the hell, Cliff?! I thought you were going to help me, not launch paint at me!
[Action]
Who said that this isn't helping?? [He laughed.] The point of this is to stay sharp and dodge. I've got nothin' on a Saiyan, Kiddo, but there's a reason why bullets just don't work on us Klausians!
[Action]
You could have told me to dodge or I'd get paint all over me first, and I would have dodged it for sure!
[Action]
That's the point. Do you think your dad's gonna tell you when he's throwing a punch?
[Action]
[She's quite matter of fact about it, too. She isn't a challenging opponent for someone like her dad and she knows it.]
[Action]
[And he fires again.]
[Action]
[Action]
C'mon, girlie. Let's pick it up!
