Hey everyone! I've already got Mother's Day covered for celebrating with my mom, but things are a little trickier with my dad. I've been thinking about it and the thing that would make him the happiest would be if I spent the whole day training with him. He's a super strong martial artist and it's his favourite thing to do.

[Which will be a real labour of love. There's no way she'd willingly subject herself to anything close to what her father would consider a good amount of training on a regular basis.]

I've already been getting some training, but I've never gone all out and trained for a whole day straight.

[It's never appealed to her before. Not even remotely. Regular exercise is one thing, and dancing is fun. 8+ consecutive hours of intense training is something she'll need to work herself up to if she's going to be able to move the next day.]

So...I was hoping to find people that would be willing to spar with me. I want to get strong enough to protect little kids that get drafted and I want to make my dad's Father's Day really special. I'm pretty durable and I can fly, so you don't need to worry about me being too fragile to handle it.

Is the other girl's name really Eyebrows? Or is that just your nickname for her?

So, what kind of training do you have? Any powers?

Well, I'm a demon, so I'm pretty strong. As for trainin', I've been at the Exorcist Cram School at True Cross Academy for a long while, and then Shura was working with me personally, and now Wolverine's helping me out there.

[Most of that goes right over her head, but 'demon' and 'Wolverine' catch her attention for different reasons. She went through Wolverine's obstacle course recently, and she knows of demons even though this is her first time ever speaking to one.]

What's your fighting style like? Do you fight with energy? Or is it more martial arts, or what?

Uh... Well, I'm learnin' more about martial arts and about sword fighting, but I've just always used my fists all my life until about a year ago. [About a year ago. It's been longer. He refuses to go there mentally] But mostly it's just my strength, 'cus I'm not really gunna use my flames in a spar.

Okay. I know some basic martial arts...and I've been watching skilled fighters my whole life, so I'm not really a fighter but I know how to not totally suck at it. I just want to work on improving.

I use my ki to fly. It's a pretty useful skill.

[Especially for escaping.]

Ki so that's like... energy stuff? Uh, internal energy, I mean?

That's right. It's life force energy...and it takes way more ki than most people's bodies have. I know a lot of amazing martial artists who can do it, though.

You've gotta teach me that one. Maybe I could learn it too.

Sure. I don't know how well I'll do as a teacher, but I'll try!

I don't see why not. I mean, my dad would be better at teaching how to do it, but if you're going to help me train, it's only fair to offer help in return, right?

Yeah, I guess, but I don't wanna take the makeovers away from the girls or anything!

Don't worry. I'll still give them makeovers if they want them. My mom does run a beauty salon, after all.

Whoa-! So you learned your stuff from your mom, huh?

My dad taught me how to use ki to fly, but my mom was the one who started me off making good fashion choices.

[He wonders, briefly, what things might have been like if he had a mom, growing up. It's not something he wonders very often, let alone dwells on, but... well, whatever]

Do late afternoons work for you? Maybe tomorrow or the next day?

[She should probably write all of her sparring appointments down somewhere, though she'll have to be careful of how she phrases it. Hanging out and makeovers are probably the safest bet to avoid her father suspecting anything.]
