Hey everyone! I've already got Mother's Day covered for celebrating with my mom, but things are a little trickier with my dad. I've been thinking about it and the thing that would make him the happiest would be if I spent the whole day training with him. He's a super strong martial artist and it's his favourite thing to do.

[Which will be a real labour of love. There's no way she'd willingly subject herself to anything close to what her father would consider a good amount of training on a regular basis.]

I've already been getting some training, but I've never gone all out and trained for a whole day straight.

[It's never appealed to her before. Not even remotely. Regular exercise is one thing, and dancing is fun. 8+ consecutive hours of intense training is something she'll need to work herself up to if she's going to be able to move the next day.]

So...I was hoping to find people that would be willing to spar with me. I want to get strong enough to protect little kids that get drafted and I want to make my dad's Father's Day really special. I'm pretty durable and I can fly, so you don't need to worry about me being too fragile to handle it.

[She smiles and waves.]

Maybe you'd just like some shopping company sometime, then. What kind of fighting style do you fight with?

Oh, I'd love to! Not many people understand the woes of picking the right color combination. [A beat.] Anyway, I mostly use taijutsu - I don't think you're familiar with it - but it's something we ninjas use in hand to hand combat.

Well, I'm definitely familiar with hand to hand combat. My dad's one of the strongest martial artists in my world. I'm not much of a fighter myself, but he's taught me the basics at least.

[Enough that any common thug would regret accosting her.]

[That got a small, if not a little poignant, smile from Ino.]

Yeah, my dad's also the one who... trained me most of the time while I was growing up. [If this conversation happened a month before, her voice would show signs of breaking. But as it is, Ino's a lot stronger now and while acceptance of her father's death that she had yet to live is hard, she had already come to terms with it, however painful.]

[It's a reminder of how lucky Bulla is to have her parents here in Luceti. People make friends and find roommates or get by on their own, but she's very close to her family and adapting here would have been much harder without them.

She doesn't realize that Ino's father is dead, but she can tell that the other girl misses her father nonetheless.]

[And she gives a lopsided smile to accompany her words. She doesn't want to expound on that, to be honest, since it'd open wounds she had tried heard to heal so the safest way to go around this is for a topic change.]

Anyway, when do you want to shop together? --And, well, spar too.

[Bulla is socially savvy enough not to push at the topic.]

Maybe we can shop first to pick out a change of clothes and then spar. I don't go to school so my schedule is pretty open aside from meeting other people who have replied here and offered to help.

[Bulla laughs at that.]

No, Fashion Club is a little nicer than that. The focus of the group is to have a place to talk about fashion, and to give people makeovers and fashion advice. I'd rather teach people to make good fashion choices than punish them for bad ones.

[Bulla thinks bad fashion choices are punishments in and of themselves anyhow.]

Oh, so it's more of discussion and makeovers, I get it. [She giggles.] Seems like a lot of fun!

But one day, I swear, we should punish people for their wrong fashion choices. [Of course, she's only kidding but nothing is beyond Yamanaka Ino.]

[Bulla is joking around as well, but she adopts a devious grin.]

Maybe we can make them write lines on a chalkboard, like "I will not wear socks with sandals".

[Ufufu, Ino adopts the same grin.]

Yeah, a hundred times if they ever break a fashion rule once.

Let's be merciful. It's not fair to punish them for something they didn't know. Some people just aren't blessed with good fashion sense.

[She's seen enough fashion horrors to know that.]

The first time, they get educated. If they break the rules after that, we'll start with one hundred lines, then two hundred on the next offense, then four hundred and so on.

[People had better hope that they're joking.]

You're being too nice, but you're right. [She nods and her all-knowing smirk turns into a smile of agreement.]

After all, if they don't follow the rules when they know them, that's a crime worth punishing.

[Sadly, they're not.]

Exactly. It's important to be fair. And if the punishments start off lighter and increase in severity with repeat offenses, then that's totally fair.

[Unfortunately, no. Bulla is only half-kidding about this. In her perfect world, this is a punishment that could be inflicted, and fashion sense would be taught in schools along with reading, writing and arithmetic.]
