I have their signatures on a typed contract saying that the money we paid them was a fifty percent advance for them playing the show. Not following through on it and not giving us our money back totally counts as theft and fraud.
[As the only child in a family that doesn't bother with traditional gender roles when it comes to work, Bulla's expected to eventually take over the company after her father retires. She's learned a thing or two about contracts in the process. As well as how to project absolute confidence to intimidate people into giving into what she wants. She doesn't use her confidence to intimidate generally, but the odd time she does, well. It's obvious that she took after her father in some ways, after all.]
Besides. They were going to ditch us for playing a show at the university because they wanted to pick up girls who were old enough to be legal drinking age. They're not exactly geniuses.
