We paid them a deposit and they didn't give it back. I have their signatures on a typed contract saying that the money we paid them was a fifty percent advance for them playing the show. Not following through on it and not giving us our money back totally counts as theft and fraud.

Besides. They were going to ditch us for playing a show at the university because they wanted to pick up girls who were old enough to be legal drinking age. They're not exactly geniuses.
