Trunks, seriously. There's nothing going on between Hikaru, Kaoru and I other than friendship.

I don't appreciate how he was talking to me. He's a jerk, so I don't buy anything he says.

[He's not beating around the bush. Because he's really annoyed.]

Then you should buy what your own sister is saying. Hikaru can be a brat sometimes, but he and Kaoru really have been helping me learn how to sew. Neither of them has ever asked me out or hit on me.

[She's mildly annoyed that Trunks would get the wrong idea so quickly. It's nice that he wants to look out for her, and that's the only thing that's keeping her calm.]

I would never date twin brothers at the same time. Or fool around with, or anything else. I'd be reluctant to date the other brother even if I dated one before and it was more than a year later. I have standards, you know.

I'm just worried about you, sis. Maybe it's because I was always looking out for Pan and Goku in space, but I don't want you to fall into the wrong crowds or get hurt. I care way too much about you.

[He sounds genuinely sincere and his expression shows a sign of concern.]

I never told you or mom or even dad. But during that time in space? I did think about you guys, especially you. I knew dad would look out for you, but I never stopped thinking about my family and wondering how you guys were.

[That's actually very sweet. She still thinks Trunks ought to respect her judgement at least a little, even if she's younger. She hasn't shown bad judgement when it comes to people in the past. She moves in to give him a big hug.]

Thanks, Trunks. I really missed you when you were away, even if I had faith that you, Goku and Pan would be successful. You don't need to worry about me falling into a bad crowd here. I've met a lot of nice people. Most people here are all right.

[There was that incident with The Blade, but she's already talked to her father about it and doesn't want to make Trunks freak out when he's already in a worrying mood. Besides, that was a month ago.]

If I ever feel threatened or unsure, I promise I'll talk to you about it, and you can decide whether it's something we should bring to Dad and Goku, too.

[Because let's face it, anything that could threaten a half-saiyan is kind of scary.]

But you know I can dish the attitude right back to anyone who's just being annoying.
