Hey everyone! I've already got Mother's Day covered for celebrating with my mom, but things are a little trickier with my dad. I've been thinking about it and the thing that would make him the happiest would be if I spent the whole day training with him. He's a super strong martial artist and it's his favourite thing to do.

[Which will be a real labour of love. There's no way she'd willingly subject herself to anything close to what her father would consider a good amount of training on a regular basis.]

I've already been getting some training, but I've never gone all out and trained for a whole day straight.

[It's never appealed to her before. Not even remotely. Regular exercise is one thing, and dancing is fun. 8+ consecutive hours of intense training is something she'll need to work herself up to if she's going to be able to move the next day.]

So...I was hoping to find people that would be willing to spar with me. I want to get strong enough to protect little kids that get drafted and I want to make my dad's Father's Day really special. I'm pretty durable and I can fly, so you don't need to worry about me being too fragile to handle it.

[She smiles and waves.]

[Bulla avoids two of them, gets hit by a third in the arm, and then dodges the next ones narrowly. It's not perfect, but she's getting the hang of this exercise. She wishes he'd just used water pellets instead, but she supposes that's part of the point of this exercise - to motivate her to dodge without seriously harming her.]

[Bulla waves when she spots Rin.]

Hey! Thanks for meeting with me, Rin.

[Bulla lifts Korra just a few more feet up and flies along for about ten meters before gently setting her down back on her feet. She lands a few seconds later.]

So that was my flying. Your turn to show me your bending, Korra.

Um...all of the above, really. My dad is incredibly strong, so I'm trying to work up to being able to train with him all day on Father's Day. He thinks that training at ten times Earth's gravity is too easy, if that helps give you an idea of how strong he is.

Oh, the makeovers were what I was offering in exchange for people helping me train. Or I can help you pick out an outfit for a special occasion if you'd like?

[That was the idea, but Cliff was also thinking of her personality when he came up with the plan. She was a teenager who liked to be on top of the fashion trends, like most normal girls. Naturally, paintball would give her extra incentive to move-- even if it was to avoid damaging her clothes.

Cliff fired off a few more in the direction that she was already moving in. Have fun. ♥ ]

[Or perhaps he wishes he could spend his whole life exercising.]

I am well. I feel quite youthful! And fully prepared for today's exercises.

[Oh--- wow. His tail droops a bit, but- no, he can do this!]

I guess I'd like that. I'm not interested in a makeover, but I do want to help people get stronger. It's a necessary skill here. [ She pauses. ] You never know when you're going to be drafted or put in a dangerous situation here.

[Bulla stops short and jumps to the side, letting out a little yelp as she narrowly evades more of the little capsules of paint.]

[She's glad she didn't wear nicer clothing. She'd have been even more annoyed at Cliff for creating this exercise. Although she reminds herself that it's still not as scary as Logan's idea of an obstacle course. She is endlessly grateful that the man didn't teach physical education at her high school.]

So, how should we start?

[Fortunately, she at least had the sense to wear clothing that's appropriate for exercising, though it's very colour coordinated and about as fashionable as fitness clothing gets.]

So, how should we start? Do you want to teach me a few things, or just do a bit of basic sparring, or what?

Yeah...and I'd like to be able to protect people who get drafted and can't fight at all. Like little kids.

[She still finds it horrifying that anyone can be drafted.]

What, is this too hard for you?

[She was good. It was hard for him not to notice that much after a few rounds of one sided paintball. Bulla was still a rank amateur, but she could probably be the head of the gymnastics team or cheerleading squad if she wanted to. Cliff dialed his pace back, but kept an attentive eye on her to get an idea of her movements as he continued firing.]

How hard is it to wash this paint out, anyway?

[If it's difficult, her shirt's already gone, but she's concerned about her hair. She's glad that Cliff's slowed his pace somewhat.]

Basic sparring sounds like an excellent way to warm up and to gauge what abilities you already have! {He says as he boxes at the air.] That is a course of action which I support!

[Lee has such an odd way of phrasing things sometimes, but he's being nice enough to help her out so she says nothing about it.

She gets into a fighting stance.]

Okay, I'm ready whenever you are!

The dye's water soluble. It just depends on how well you can do your laundry.

[He was tough, but not mean. There was no way he would use permanent ink on something that was meant to be a moderate annoyance at worst-- that was just uncool, man.]

[ She's still grinning broadly when they land, stepping back and stretching out her limbs. ]

Got it. Which do you want to see first? Earth, fire, or water?

Very well. [He slips into his own fighting stance.] Let this spar... begin! [And he dashes straight at her, to try some quick jabs around her shoulders.]

W-well, that's up to you. How would work best for you? [And they should probably get into the rooms, or something.]

Hmm....how about whatever you usually do to warm up for a training session?

[One would think she'd know more about regular training, but she doesn't really pay attention to her father and brother's training routines. She's cheered them on at every tournament they've competed in that she's been alive to make an appearance for, though.]

That's a relief.

[Of course, she'd rather not get hit at all, but at least she knows it can be washed out. She's glad she won't be ruining her clothes for this.]

[She tries to bring up her fists to block, but Lee's punches all connect. Fortunately, Bulla is a lot more durable than she looks, and she shakes them off as if they were just taps. She comes back with a palm strike aimed to slam into Lee's chest.]

Hmm...show me firebending.

[All three of them sound interesting, but fire jumps out at her as being the most interesting of the three.]
