[She is calming down a little. At least people weren't adding insult to injury by laughing at her or being supportive of what Neji had done. And he did have enough respect for her to tell her himself rather than letting her find out secondhand through gossip. She's still hurt and upset, but it could have been worse. Hinata beating up the jerk quarterback who couldn't just settle for ruining his own relationship also helps.]

Well, more like Sasuke was beat up by Neji's sister. She didn't beat Neji up, but she's barely talking to him.

[Which is nice, really, knowing that she's not going to accept that kind of behaviour from her brother.]

I'll pass on the invitation, though.

[And hopefully, Hinata wouldn't be asked for a narrative of decking Sasuke, because Bulla knows her friend is a little embarrassed about her outburst.]

[He looks at her for a second. Oh, he misheard. He will just blame it being so late that he confused Sasuke with Neji.] That's what I meant. I don't see why she shouldn't of beaten them both. Either way, it's good to hear they are getting their just desserts. So, everything will be fine, don't you think?

[She looks like she's calming down to him. He's thinking about trying to get her to go to bed now, so she can sleep on it and hopefully feel better in the morning.]

Hinata wouldn't beat Neji up because he's still a good brother even if he turned out to be an idiot boyfriend.

[The way Neji watched out for Hinata was part of what got Bulla's attention in the first place.]

...and he'd better keep being a good brother to her or I'll beat him up myself.

All right.

[It still will bother her and keep her up, but she can at least try to sleep.]

I'm just glad I don't have to go to school tomorrow.

[She can pretend everything's fine when it's not, but she is grateful for that one day off from any gossip she might have to deal with in the hallways.]
