Actually, it took me a while to settle on what I wanted. I still need to buy a shawl to go with my dress. I bought that one over there.
[She points to a full length and very pricy red dress with thin little spaghetti straps. It's otherwise a modest dress, but she'll be getting a shawl so that her father doesn't have a conniption about her going out in public in it.]
Oooh... [Wanda admires the dress from her position on the floor. The two girls have a similar choice in colour pallet, if not style.] Well with so many choices, and for such an important night--! What were you thinking, a white shall? Or something less constrast-y?
[Moving over, Wanda accepts the dress Bulla had indicated.] I would go with white, personally, but you know I love red and black, too. [As her typical clothing pallet would attest to. Moving over, Wanda accepts the dress Bulla had indicated.] Are you going to try anything on, too? I know, you just said you've picked out your dress, but it's always fun to try things on!
[Wanda, you are singing the song of her people right now.]
Maybe something for more everyday wear...it is fun to try things on.
[She browses through the clothing that's available before selecting a cute poodle skirt. As it turns out, she doesn't have to go and get a sales associate. One of them recognizes her tell-tale hair and comes right over. She eyes Wanda, but says nothing. Bulla smiles pleasantly.]
Hi there. Please get two fitting rooms started for my friend and I.
[It's her polite way of letting the saleswoman know that she expects Wanda to receive the same treatment that she does.]
[Not at all ignorant to what Bulla's doing, Wanda actually appreciates her addressing the staff this way. True, she could probably be embarrassed by it; everyone here, including Bulla knows Wanda doesn't belong in this shop. On the other hand, though, she could just go with it, and enjoy the day of upper class shopping. Why ruin such a lovely day out with dour thoughts of reality? ]
Summer's not over yet-- And you look so cute in sun dresses.
[She probably won't buy one, though, since while her family is wealthy, her father will still question it if she's spending too much money. She's already bought her uncle some clothing for job interviews since he's trying to make it on his own.]

[She spots another dress that she thinks might suit Wanda and searches for what looks like the right size.]
Here, start with this one and I'll get a salesperson.
