[The blue haired girl who appears on the video feed is nothing short of irate.]

Bad enough that I get taken away just before I got to go home, but some creep changes my clothes while I'm unconscious and leaves me with this plain thing?!

[She looks disdainfully at the plain white sundress.]

Don't even get me started on surgical modification. Ugh. I want to know who's in charge of this sketchy operation so I can give them a piece of my mind!

[Bulla clenches a petite fist and looks like she wants to smack someone. Then she realizes that anyone else who has a little book device like this probably isn't in a much better situation.]

Sorry...this is just so not what I needed right now, so if anyone is listening and can tell me who I should go yell at, I'd appreciate it.

[The teenager is a decidedly unhappy camper. She just wants to be home with her family where she belongs, but instead she's stuck here. She'd really like to slap the pervert who undressed her and took her clothes. Even discovering that she'd be able to get them back doesn't really make up for what's happened. She's tempted to fly in the air to get a better view of the area in the hopes of spotting an escape route...but she'll save that for later. There are priorities that need to be addressed. Namely this bland little sundress she's currently wearing.

She wanders along, exploring and doing her best to remember where she's going. A couple of times, she finds herself lost and begins marking where she's been with a stick on the ground. It helps, and after a while she reaches the town.

Bulla looks irritable right up until she spots a clothing shop with a cute shirt and skirt combination on display amongst other outfits. Her expression visibly brightens and she makes a beeline for the shop.]

Then I'll look for you.

[And off she floats, drifting just over the ground with a nice pair of pants and a simple sweater. Nothing fancy, but not bad. Also shoes, because it's still snowy but no socks. She hordes socks.]

[This actually isn't all that odd by Bulla's standards. At least half of the people she knows from home are able to fly using their ki. Bulla's only reaction to the floating is mild surprise.]

Oh, hi. Thanks for bringing something for me to wear.

Of course.

[She offers over the clothing and lands.]

May I ask your name, young lady?

My name is Bulla. Bulla Brief.

[Bulla pulls the sweater on over the dress for starters. That's much warmer, at least.]

It's nice to meet you, miss...?

[Saori stops for a moment. That last name sounds familiar. But she can't place it. So she just shrugs. Time would tell if she remembered anything more.]

Kimura. Saori Kimura. It's lovely to meet you Bulla.

Have you been stuck here for very long, Kimura?

[Bulla's hoping this is just a temporary setback.]

Saori, if you don't mind.

[No need for such formality.]

I've been here roughly eight months.

[Excuse Bulla while her jaw drops.]

Eight months?! That's terrible. I'm so sorry you've been stuck here that long.

There are worse things. I've had time to get to know plenty of very sweet and interesting people.

[Like your dad, haha]

It...sounds worse than it is.

It's still abduction and having our bodies surgically modified.

[Bulla's having trouble being optimistic about it all.]

At least there's people here who are nice and helpful, but still.

It is difficult, but you must look on the bright side.

[She might actually reach out a comforting hand.]

We do what we can for each other.

That makes sense. There's no sense in fighting each other when we could focus on fighting the people responsible for all of this.

[It's still frustrating, and she can't really see the bright side at the moment. She was going to go home and then wound up here.]

Yes, exactly.

[She gestures towards the village]

Now, why don't we see about finding you some of your own clothes? I think we'll find them in town.

Tell me about yourself, Bulla. How old are you? And what do you enjoy doing? Maybe there's something here to occupy your time.

I'm fifteen and I love fashion and shopping.

[She's a little skeptical of how much shopping she can get done in a little town here, but some is better than none.]

Some new clothes would be good. I definitely don't want to wear a plain little sundress.

[Saori laughs]

Well, we'll get you something new, don't worry.

[Enthusiastic teenager much? Goodness, when she finds out who your dad is...]

Thanks. I especially like going shopping with my dad. It makes him kind of grumpy, but he'll hold all my stuff for me and I know I can trust him to give me honest opinions on everything I try on.

[Unlike some sales staff who see her as walking cash.]

He sounds like a lovely father though, to dote on his daughter so much.

[She laughs]

My own father was a lot more severe. But he was honest, at least.

He acts like a lot more of a grump than he really is. He's pretty rough on the boys who flirt with me, though.

[Including ripping the steering wheel off of the car of two boys who did so...while they were driving.]

Dad was severe with my big brother Trunks. There's a big age gap between us and things were a lot more dangerous back then.

Well, that's called being an overprotective father I suppose.

[She blinks at the name, it sounds silly!]

Trunks? You...have a brother named Trunks? What's he like? And why so severe?

He can be sometimes, but he's tough and doesn't want anyone messing with his little girl.

[She doesn't get why the name Trunks would sound silly to anyone. It's a perfectly normal name on her world.]

Trunks is smart - kind of a nerd, really, but he took over as president of our family's company recently. My dad had to be severe with him because there were all sorts of creeps who were either trying to take over or destroy the Earth before I was born.

What father would?

[She nods]

So your world is a bit more dangerous then? Lots of troublemakers out to destroy it?

Well, it was peaceful for most of my life, but before I was born, some creep would try to destroy it or take over once every couple of years or so. Sometimes more often than that, if you count the minions.

That sounds...unpleasant. But at least it's calmed down.

Granted, this place isn't the most ideal for safety. But that's not a big deal. There are plenty of fighters to keep people unharmed.

That's good. I'm not really a fighter myself, although I'm pretty athletic.

[She has no idea how much of an understatement that is. The only reason she even thinks of herself as being athletic is because she can run faster and lift more weight than any of her classmates at school, and she attributes that to her Saiyan blood.]

I'd rather go shopping and hang out with friends.

Well, I'm sure you'll have plenty of chances to do that here, and use that athleticism too.

It's always wise to prepare...just a bit.
