Sensing energy isn't just a quick indicator whether or not to stay away from someone. It doesn't tell you who is dangerous and who isn't. Their energy signal, of course, will indicate who it is once you know but unless it's a very strong negative force you aren't going to be able to tell right off the bat. The only thing it's going to help is to find myself or Kakarot if need be. So don't think that just because you can do that means that you're completely safe.
